PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS P. S. A.
Students were assigned to a group of about 5 students. The group choose a specific PSA topic (eg. Anti-Smoking, Bullying, Internet Safety, Recycling, Staying Fit, etc.). Each student in a particular group would then use the same google doc link to collaborate and organize the group research about that topic. Students will find articles using Sirs Discoverer. Each member of a group is to read a different article and list 5 facts that they learned from the article. Students will use facts from their research to collaboratively develop a script that will be video-taped using Flip Cams. The final Public Service Announcement presentation will be created with IMovie using the green screen effect.

My talent
Students import a picture of themselves and two pieces of clip art into a powerpoint slide. Then they type a paragraph about their most impressive talents or hobby. Individual students will then narrate their slide. Student projects are then combined into a class movie.
